When it comes to drug use and pregnancy, the default setting has been misinformation. Many health professionals and much of society still believe the myths and mistruths of the "crack baby", they believe that (illicit) substance use in pregnancy seriously harms newborns and that family separation is the only way to keep children safe. To counteract these incorrect narratives and to detail alternatives to "test and report", Drs. Taylor and Terplan have organized and delivered numerous trainings to health professionals.  DRBB continues this work.
